Here at SBRLFE, INC. our mission is to provide safe and sober living in the Mason City community. We come alongside people in recovery who are making changes in their lives. That struggle is real and many times people don’t have a safe and sober living environment to nurture their foundation in recovery. The good news is that is where we can help! Providing safe and sober living solves the base needs of safety, security and shelter. This allows people in recovery to move right into working on developing relationships in our community to further their healthy choices. Surrounding newcomers with healthy, like minded people greatly increases their chances of success as they continue down the path of recovery. This is such a winning combination and I have been blessed to personally see it in action!
People like you are the only reason SBRLFE, INC. has been able to support our community in this area. That’s why we are sending you this letter today. We would like to invite you to join us in our socially responsible mission of providing safe and sober living in the Mason City community.
SBRLFE, INC. is more than just safe and sober living. That is really only the beginning. We work with our residents on weekly goals, finding ways to overcome barriers to accomplishing those goals, struggles during the week and we always get to speak about our greatest accomplishments of the week. We have personally been witness to residents gaining valid employment, supporting our community, paying off decades old fines from their past, getting driver’s licenses reinstated, medical licenses reinstated and becoming responsible members of our community, as a start. Then we get to see the good stuff. We see husbands rebuilding healthy relationships with their wives. We see people learning to be better children to their parents. We see men and women understanding and being willing to respect each other and love each other. This next one is our favorite. We see fathers and mothers rebuilding relationships with their children. Healthy relationships. Safe relationships. We get to see children have parents again. Safe and sober parents. What a joy! Words cannot describe how important this work is!
